Liu Yang at Shandong Taishan: High Success Rate Pass

Liu Yang, the first Chinese woman astronaut, has successfully completed her training and is now set to become the first Chinese woman in space. She was selected for the mission in 2010 and underwent rigorous training over the past four years.

On June 5, Liu Yang successfully passed the final hurdle of her training, which involved several key tests including weightlessness simulation, medical examination, and psychological evaluation. The test results were all positive, indicating that she had achieved high success rate.

The test marks the end of a long journey for Liu Yang, who began her training as a student at Tsinghua University in Beijing in 2003. After graduating from university, she joined the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST) in 2006 and started her astronaut training program.
